    It is important to read the vocabulary and background before you watch the video. This will improve your ability to understand the video. It will also help you understand how the new vocabulary is used naturally.

  2. WATCH the VIDEO

    The first time you watch the video, just try to understand the overall situation.

  3. ANSWER the QUESTIONS

    First, try to answer all the questions from memory. Then rewatch the video and try to answer the questions that you missed.

  4. WATCH and READ the SCRIPT

    Watch the video again while you read the script. Reading and listening at the same time will help you hear each individual word and improve your listening accuracy.

  5. DO the ACTIVITIES

    There are several different activities that focus on listening accuracy, pronunciation, vocabulary, grammar, and sentence structure.

Yeah, I loved school.

Why?

Because you learned lots of new things, and there was lots of sport to do, and all your friends were at school.

What were your best and worst subjects?

Maybe languages. I liked French, but also science and math. And worst subject. I don't know. I like them all.

How do you feel about taking exams?

I don't like taking exams, but I usually put up with it. Usually if I study hard for them, then I'm pretty confident.

I'm not really usually stressed out about exams. But, I mean, who likes taking exams?

So, have you ever had an exam disaster?

I haven't really had a disaster where I like completely bombed the exam because usually I'm pretty well-prepared, but I have had a couple exams where I thought I did really well, but it turns out I didn't do as well as I thought.

Have you ever cheated in an exam?

Yes, many.

How did you cheat?

Oh, I've used all different types of techniques. Sometimes, I've written things on my palm. Other times, I've just put a book on my lap. Sometimes, I've put answers on my cell phone. But it was only for subjects that I really didn't like and I knew that would never have anything to do with my career. So, I didn't feel bad about cheating on a math test.

Were you caught?

I don't think I've ever been caught, no. I'm really good at it.
